Goey Butter Cake Squares

I was looking for recipes today on the internet and
came across a few for baking sweet butter goey cakes.
They're cake squares using plain yellow cake mixes.
To create a base to hold a cream cheese topping
which is very good tasting but also very sweet.
I cut the sweet keeping in the sweet creamery butter.
Drizzle on some chocolate frosting if you dare to.
I bet you can't eat just one of these with your coffee.

Ingredients for crust:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg, beaten

Ingredients for topping:
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl combine the crust ingredients
and press into a greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan.
In another mixing bowl beat topping ingredients until smooth,
and pour on top of cake mixture.
Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Cut into squares while still warm.
Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar.
Cut into yummy tasting 2" squares for serving.
Vanilla ice cream.. yum...
